Krohn-Hite 6620A Precision (GPIB) Programmable Phasemeter 10Hz - 10 The Model 6620A provides precision phase measurements with a typical accuracy of 0.02° and a resolution of 0.01° over most of the frequency range. It will accept a wide range of input signal levels from 10mVrms to 320V rms and input waveforms including sine, triangle, square and pulses. A 5 digit LED display provides continuous direct readout of phase angles between 0.00° and 360.00° or ±180°. These two ranges can be manually or automatically selected.

Newport Labs 3150 Advanced High-Power Temperature Controller The Model 3150 Temperature Controller provides a 350 W bipolar output for operation with thermoelectric (TE) coolers. Active power management of the output DC power supply reduces unnecessary power dissipation resulting in increased temperature stability and higher reliability. Full 16-bit control and characterization of the TE module and temperature sensor is attainable via the IEEE-488 or RS-232 interfaces. LabVIEW drivers are included with the computer interfaces as a standard feature.
All pertinent TE cooler parameters ITE, VTE, temperature sensor (°C, R, Amp, or Volts) are measured and simultaneously presented on the four line alphanumeric LCD display. All standard temperature sensors including thermistors, platinum RTD, AD590/592 and LM335 IC sensors are supported without the need for additional interface units. Sensor calibration constants are easily programmed for direct readout in °C.
A proportional-integral (P-I) control circuit is implemented in the Model 3150 that meets all the temperature stabilization requirements for laser diode users.
During operation, the front panel controls can be disabled to prevent any changes in the output by accidental misadjustment of the control knob.

Newport Labs 5005 Laser Diode Driver (500 mA) The 5000 Series Laser Diode Drivers are advanced current sources based on the technology found in the 6000 and 8000 Series products. Full 16-bit control and characterization of your laser diodes is attainable via the IEEE-488 or RS-232C interfaces. LabVIEW drivers are included with the computer interfaces as a standard feature on all 5000 Series units.

All pertinent laser diode parameters Io, Im or Po, and Vf are simultaneously presented on the two line alphanumeric LCD display. Power in Watts is displayed when the responsivity of the monitor photodiode is programmed into the unit.

Incorrect settings are prevented during the setup mode to protect the laser diode. When power is turned off all program settings are saved. In addition, several different setups can be saved and recalled to facilitate multiple control and test requirements.

During operation the front panel inputs can be disabled by pushing the Lockout dial button located below the control knob. This prevents any inadvertent changes in the output by accidental movement of the control knob.

An internal function generator is included that is programmable from 200 Hz-300 kHz in either a sinewave or squarewave output. This provides a convenient means to generate datacom and telecom test tones for system evaluation.

External analog modulation is also included allowing you to modulate the output current using other waveforms and frequencies. Modulation is available in both the constant current (ACC) and constant power (APC) modes.

Complete laser diode protection is provided including transient detection and filtering, intermittent contact protection, independent current limit and power limit settings, multiple output shorting circuits, and a slow turn on sequence. In addition, our shielded cables protect against radiated energy from outside equipment resulting in the lowest noise output to the laser diode.

Quadtech 2520 Guardian AC/DC Hipot Tester 5KVAC / 6kVDC 15mA AC The Guardian 2500 Series builds upon QuadTech’s Sentry family of electrical safety testers and incorporates a unique Ground Fault Interruption (GFI) feature as well as an RS232 interface and optional IEEE488 or enhanced remote interfaces. The GFI circuit is designed to protect the operator from inadvertent contact with the units high voltage output. The principle of operation is based on independent current monitoring on both the high voltage output and the return line. Any imbalance of current shuts the units high voltage output down.

The 2500 provides arc detection capability for monitoring short duration transients in current flow which often go undetected. Both detection level and duration of the arc are user programmable.

The Guardian 2520 AC/DC Hipot Tester performs AC and DC dielectric withstand (hipot) tests. The test voltage is programmable in the range from 100V to 5KVAC/6KVDC with low and high current detection limits from 1µAAC to 15mAAC and 0.1µADC to 7.5mADC. The capability of measuring and displaying real, imaginary and total current makes the unit ideal for testing capacitive type devices, such as power supplies, cables and transformers, where the imaginary part of the total current may be significantly higher than the real part.

Quadtech GUARDIAN 5000 AC-DC-IR-GC Safety Analyzer (Hipot) .1-5KVAC .5-6K The Quadtech Guardian 5000 Electrical Safety Analyzer is four instruments in one, providing AC Hipot, DC Hipot, Insulation Resistance, and Ground Bond measurements from a single test connector in one versatile instrument. This provides a cost effective solution to electrical safety compliance testing with maximum flexibility for present and future requirements. Performing all of the electrical safety tests in one box can reduce test time, increase productivity and reduce the number of boxes requiring calibration.

The Guardian 5000 AC Hipot Testerperforms AC dielectric testing (hipot) over the voltage range from 100V to 5000VAC RMS. The maximum leakage current of 40mA RMS makes the Guardian 5000 ideal for testing devices with high leakage currents such as power supplies which have large filter or “Y” capacitors for noise reduction. Both the actual test voltage and total current are displayed during testing.

The Guardian 5000 DC Hipot Testervoltage range for DC dielectric testing is 100V to 6000VDC with a resolution of 10V. The maximum current leakage is 20mA which allows quick charging of capacitive devices. A quick discharge of the device when the measurement is complete, also minimizes test times.

The Guardian 5000 Insulation Resistance measurements are similar to a DC hipot but rather than displaying leakage current, resistance is calculated and displayed. The insulation resistance can be measured over the range of 10MW to 10GW with test voltages from 50VDC to 1000VDC in 1V steps.

The Guardian 5000 Ground Bondprovides up to 30A AC for ground bond testing. The test current can be programmed from 1A to 30A in 0.1A steps. Hi current limit, test time, frequency and open circuit no load voltage can all be programmed. The offset feature can automatically compensate for any lead resistance.

Rohde & Schwarz EMFT TV Test Receiver The Rohde & Schwarz EMFT TV Test Receiver is a continuously tunable test receiver that features two isolated video outputs and two outputs for the Q signal. These outputs enable the measurement of incidental phase modulation of the vision carrier which in turn determines the intercarrier S/N ration of the sound channel.

In addition, the adjustment of linearity and phase equalizing circuits is facilitated through the use of the Q signal. The EMFT is fitted with an audio broadband output which delivers a multiplex signal for driving an MTS decoder. Moreover, a 4.5 MHz intercarrier input and output are provided.
